As part of our research, we are always looking for participants of all ages who would like to take part in our studies. Usually, these are simple computer experiments in which you are shown different scenes or objects and you work on simple tasks. These PC studies take place either online, where you can work on the tasks from the comfort of your home on your computer or laptop, or on-site, where you can visit us in our Scene Grammar Lab on the Westend campus of Goethe University. In some of our studies, we also record your eye movements with the help of an eye tracker - an eye movement measuring device. Or you receive virtual reality glasses and are guided to e.g. search for given objects in a virtual environment. And last but not least, there is also the possibility to participate in EEG studies in our lab: with the help of conductive electrodes, we measure electrical brain activity - a method that is completely harmless and does not hurt. You can find some insights into our research and the respective research methods here.
Interested? Then simply subscribe to our mailing list by clicking the button on the left. By subscribing to our mailing list you will be informed about ongoing or new studies and you can always decide if you have the time and would like to participate. Unsubscribing from the list is also possible at any time.
Under the right button you will find a list of our current studies, for which you can register directly. See you hopefully soon - we are looking forward to hearing from you!
